Method and calculation
Each adjacent point pair is measured with the Haversine formula and summed. This does not snap points to roads.
Privacy and external map tiles
Calculations and uploaded files remain in your browser. Visual map tiles are downloaded from the displayed map provider and are not hosted by Toolare. The page is therefore not fully offline.
Limitations
This is drawn geographic path distance, not road distance. Tile availability does not affect stored points or calculations.
