Method and calculation
Map clicks and marker movement update a local coordinate value. Browser geolocation runs only after you press the button.
Privacy and external map tiles
Calculations and uploaded files remain in your browser. Visual map tiles are downloaded from the displayed map provider and are not hosted by Toolare. The page is therefore not fully offline.
Limitations
Map tiles require the displayed external provider. Browser position accuracy varies and no address lookup is performed.
