Method and calculation
GeoJSON is parsed and validated locally, then passed to Leaflet for display. The map fits to valid data bounds.
Privacy and external map tiles
Calculations and uploaded files remain in your browser. Visual map tiles are downloaded from the displayed map provider and are not hosted by Toolare. The page is therefore not fully offline.
Limitations
Files are capped at 5 MB and 10,000 features. Very complex geometry can still be slow on mobile devices.
